What experience do I need to become a RiseUp Fitness franchise owner?
At RiseUp Fitness, we are about people. We seek financially qualified business builders with extensive business management experience who also have a passion for community engagement, and enjoy a healthy, fit lifestyle. Fitness training is a plus, but not required. If our culture and opportunity speak to you, then we want to speak to you too.
What is provided as part of the RiseUp Fitness franchise program?
We are excited to welcome you into the RiseUp Fitness franchisee training program. First, we’ll welcome you and a team member to our flagship location in California where you will undertake classroom and on-the-job fitness training. When it’s time for you to welcome your own community into your studio, members of our team will be there to help make sure it runs smoothly. We’ll be as excited as you are the first time your studio is filled with the energy of a full class! Of course, we are always available via phone and email when you need us. Franchise owners also have exclusive access to our confidential operations manual, from the moment they are selected to become a franchise owner with RiseUp Fitness.
How much will the RiseUp Fitness franchise program cost me?
The estimated initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $233,683 to $359,427. This includes a $50,000 initial franchise fee for a single unit agreement. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages. Candidates are required to have a minimum liquid capital $150,000 to support maximum growth.
Is financing available?
We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we can refer you to experts who can provide the best solutions for you.
Are there ongoing fees to pay?
We collect a royalty fee equal to 7% of gross revenues per week. Fees such as these allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of programs, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades. For a full list of fees and requirements, please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
Are there any advertising fees?
Franchise owners will be required to spend $3,000 per month on local marketing each month for their first year in business, and then $2,000 per month ongoing. You will also contribute 2% of gross revenues into the brand marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the RiseUp Fitness brand and cover the creative costs to develop branded marketing materials and campaigns.
What is the term of the agreement?
The initial term of your agreement is seven years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years each.
